Review

No,the new single and album from Papa Roach ain?t a cover of the 80?s hit with Meat Loaf but what it is though-it?s without doubt Papa Roach best album so far.
Together with demon producer Howard Benson, they have created a solid piece of work which is their most melodic album up to date.
Singer Jacoby Shaddix and Co has left the rap department and also dumped their punkmetal trailer in a ditch along the numetal road,"Getting away with murder" sounds more like the latest album from Sevendust with a chorus based numetal but without losing the heavy approach of the songs.
There are lots of hit candidates on this album, the last track "Do or die" which is a real headbangrocker, the opening track "Blood" with a smashchorus upon a steam engine rockmachine, the pumping "Not listening" which contains some razorsharp riffs or the sweaty radio rocker "Done with you" that will make any crowd go crazy.
But for now they have a single out,the title track that will settle Papa Roach as one of the best metal bands on the face of this earth.
Their older fans might say that they have sold out but I?m glad the band developed their sound and selling out doesn?t always mean that it has to be bad.
