Long Since Forgotten from Syracuse,NY released their debut in 2002 and after touring relentlessly for 2 years-the band has continued to win fans across the country but also matured in their songwriting on their new album "Standing room only".
Heavily influenced by British bands like Manic Street Preachers,Suede and Travis-this nice quartet spiced the music with some powerpop harmonies and my thoughts go directly to similar acts like Copeland and Denver Harbor.
I like the silent and smooth vocals,in these screamo emo times this is an odd thing to hear coz for some-LSF?s music could be filed as Emo if they hadn?t this type of vocals.
Not all the 12 songs hold the same quality but the moments that are good-are even more uplifting....not a bad thing at all.

Did you know that?

Kansas singer Steve Walsh often has his doubts about the music business, "Steve - I feel like quitting quite often, especially when I release solo CD´s that don´t sell very well"
