Review

Powerpop/Indiepunk in the same school as Matthew Sweet,The Records (British cultpowerpop band from the 70?s) and Supergrass is what the band The Get Up Kids has delivered since the mid 90?s with the "Something to write home about" album from 99 as the biggest fan favorite.
"Guilt show" is the band?s latest and 5th album released this year and follows the same tradition of happy sounding 60?s influenced underground pop,at times they are a light version of Cheap Trick (just listen to the catchy "The one you want") and at others a deadringer for Matthew Sweet?s sunny pop pearls.
A solid album well worth spending your money on.
