Review

Lennon Murphy is the name behind this numetal lady and her band Lennon, she released the brilliant "5:30 saturday morning" on Arista in 2001 and recorded the album "Career suicide" in 2003 with just a piano and her voice-which only is available through her website.
Her new album "I am" has been finished for a while but she has been shopping it around to labels this last year,it looks like the album finally sees a release in Taiwan and Hong Kong this August of 2004 but her American fans have to wait a little while longer.
The new album isn?t as good as the Arista debut but it contains some nice stuff like the rocker "Nothing out of me" that mixes numetal with a pop chorus and the more soft "Goodbye" which is the best song on the album.
There are too many fillers on "I am" so the overall impression is that this isn?t a worthy follow up to such a strong debut.
