Review

Aqualung is the band of the classically trained pianist/singer Matt Hales and his brother Ben on Drums, their 2nd album "Still life" was released Oct.2003 so its a year ago but good music like this should always be recognized to the big world and not only in Britain where they are based.
Piano dominated melancholic and beautiful pop with one foot in the 70?s and the other in the 21st century is what Matt Hales is making, think Keane and E.L.O with a touch of Coldplay and you?ll get Aqualung.
Matt has a sensual voice and his songs sure will find a way into your heart if you only let him,the album may feel a little too calm like a walk in the autumn rain on the 2nd half but the first half is awesome.
"Brighter than sunshine" and "Easier to lie" is orchestral pop at it?s best.........yummy.
