This is a band that really caught my attention from the first time I heard the demo of the stunning track "Buried a lie".
This New Jersey based band released the EP "From The Depths Of Dreams" on ECA records in 2002 that also was re-released on Drive-Thru last year with 2 bonus tracks, this fall they are back armed and ready with their debut full length "Let it unfold you" on Vagrant records which can be described as a screamo emo affair but Senses Fail is more than just your typical Emo band.
They handle the posthardcore genre just fine with elegant touches of melodic punkrock plus a great sense of humour in the title "Rum is for drinking not for burning".
These guys also sings about their hometown in "NJ falls into the Atlantic" that should?ve been the main theme to the blockbuster disaster movie "The day after tomorrow",talking about movies - is there anyone else than me who thinks the SF cover looks a bit like the movie poster of David Cronenberg?s "Scanners" from 81?!
With anthemic songs like "Lady in a blue dress" and "Buried a lie",Senses Fail are here to stay whether you like it or not!!!
