Quality Vinyl is a 6 piece acoustic folkrock band from Kansas City,with both male and female vocals - their music feels like a close relative to artists like Kim Hill,Sixpence none the richer and Smalltown poets. Their independent debut has a weak production and the majority of the songs doesn?t move me at all,I come to think about their music as being perfect in a piano bar or a dinner restaurant - noone will be offended coz it?s soft and harmless but how exciting is that? A few songs are pretty ok though such as the pianobased "Calling me",the dreamy "Investigate" and the instrumental "No.3".
