This is just a short review of a this Subdivisons album that is a Tribute to Rush. I have never been a bigger fan of these Canadians but they have made the day for many out there. Well, what about this tribute then?? Is it any good you might ask? I think they do it Ok without shining out. The line-up on this album is more impressive I must say with name like Sebastian Bach, Robert Berry, Stu Hamm, Randy Jackson, Jani Lane, Vinnie Moore and Kip Winger to name few. I have to say that the version that Kip Winger makes of Limelight is really good. This is the only song that I think deservs to have a mention because Kip does a strong version of that song. Other songs that are done is Distant Early Warning, Different Strings, Tom Sawyer, A Farewell To Kings, Lakeside Park, Subdivisions, Bastille Day, The Spirit Of Radio, Didacts And Narpets and 2112 Overtune/The Temples Of Syrinx. Many times these tributes has a lame production but this one has a good one. This is only for the die-hard fans because if you want to hear Rush then you wanna put on the real stuff.
