Review

"Sunsets and Sushi" is more like an EP than a full album, offering only eight remixed songs from David Crowder?s career. Each is different from its original, but the remixes are not dance pop or something. They?re mostly electronified than we?re used to when it comes to DCB. This release offers never before released remixed versions of radio hits and concert favorites including "Open Skies", "O Praise Him (All This For A King)", and more. And it?s actually quite cool to hear the tracks this way... Musically the remixes takes you on a journey all over the place, but if you?re a Crowder fan and an open minded guy, this one is for you. But if you just like modern rock you will not understand a single second of this album. I find the brand new twist showcasing their pulsing melodic rock energy and infectious acoustic style with Sunsets & Sushi, their first remix project rather cool.

Tracklisting 1. No One Like You - Thanksgiving Mix;Remix
2. O Praise Him (All This For A King) - Oceanic Mix;Remix
3. Open Skies - Dirty Beats Mix;Remix
4. Revolutionary Love - Neo-Mechanical Mix;Remix
5. How Great (Direct From Satellite City) - Remix
6. Intoxicating - Pneumatic Mix;Remix
