Review

Philadelphia based band Circa Survive
worked with starproducer Brian McTernan (Moments in Grace,Dont look down,Engine down) on their highly interesting debut!
Their sound can be described as a mix between Brazil,Mars Volta and Sunny Day Real Estate!
The band is fronted by ex.Saosin singer Anthony Green and he?s got a poetic way of singing,in fact the whole music is poetic and beautiful and at the same time suggestive.
"Juturna" is not an album you have as background music, you need to give your full attention to get something out of their complex emo influenced rock.
They?re the Ingemar Bergman of rocknroll, there?s something underneath the shell of modern harmonies that you will only find if you park your car at the Circa Survive station and buy a ticket to the endstation of Juturna!
Highlights are "Wish resign","Act appaled" and "We?re all thieves".
