Review

Dibs is a 3 piece band formed by Beau Burtnick-Vocals,Bass (son of legendary rocker Glen Burtnik),Jed Higgerson-Guitars,Vocals and Joe Chyb-Drums,they released their first full length album
"Make out songs" in 2001 and last year the new mini album "Bevelaquo" came out.
It contains 9 tracks but only 6 can be described as normal songs coz the other 3 are intro:s or interludes or whatever
you may like to call those short ones, the music lies somewhere between Michael Morales and Beau?s father Glen Burtnik?s 2nd album "Heroes and zeros".
This is a nice and guitardriven powerpoprocking album with?catchy choruses,I only miss a real standout track that will wake you up in a blink of an eye coz even if these songs are good - noone is actually great!
There are some cool axework on "She wants love" but where?s the chorus? and the opening track "Losing" will make you
stomp your feet but it?s not a hit.
HIGHLIGHTS:Losing,She wants love
