Review

New York based band Interpol are influenced by new wave bands like Television,Echo and the Bunnymen and
Joy Division and then have added a more alternative rock touch to their music where my thoughts go to R.E.M, Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics.
"Antics" is their second album and they have a hit with the new single "Evil" which became a fave right away when I saw the video on MTV,there?s a melancholic
feeling going through the whole album and I really like the atmosphere of it.
Most of the songs are in the midtempo mode so the uptempo driven "Not even jail" feels like a nice welcome in the middle of the album, however "Antics" is really
relaxing and is recommendable to the ones who are into the artists above.
