Review

Bittersweet, sophisticated and melancholic indiepop is what we?re dealing with here. That?s what one journalist writes about them when I was checking them out at their homepage for this review. The songs blend trumpet, keyboard effects, acoustic guitar, and electronic and analog percussion for an intelligent pop sound is a line another journalist uses. You may wonder why the hell we write about this album for then. We?re not known for being the ?indie-central? on the net are we? Ehum? And I can understand why. Because this album sucks.

Did you know that?

Before forming Fightstar, singer Charlie Simpson was in a band called Busted, who were a British pop band consisting of James Bourne (rhythm guitar), Charlie Simpson (lead guitar and occasionally drums), and Matt Willis (bass). They sold over 1 million singles and 2 million albums in the UK, winning BRIT Awards, Record Of The Year and performing on several sellout arena tours.
