Review

Just like the successful band The Killers, this quartet with the supercool name Panic! at the disco also comes from Las Vegas,"A fever you can?t sweat out" is mighty fine debut that reminds a bit of The Killers new age rocking style but not as 80?s based.
You can?t pick out any hitsingle contenders on this album coz it?s more of a grower where the songs will slowly but steady get stuck in your head, good thing to ride the wave now while bands like The Music and Clear Static are the right bands to like for the incrowd.
It?s impossible to sit still to songs like "Camisado","Nails for breakfast, tacks for snacks" and "Time to dance" - now we just have to wait and see if they will cause any panic at the disco!

whatever you like
at first all the songs sound alike, the more you listen to it they more you appreciate the lyrics as well as the different sounds. . overall the cd is good for an uplifting mood but can get easily played out quickly

this cd is literally a cd that without even ever hearing of the band or anything about them, you can buy, pop it in your player, and if you like any kind of rock from 1970s to today, then you will rock out with this cd...my favorite song on this is "Build God, Then Well Talk"...every song, even the corny techno beat "interlude", is awesome... 5 out of 5
