The Berlin family was out of luck when they signed with the now defunct label Dreamworks for their first album "Black skies in broad daylight",the album is now hard to get since the label went kaput but now the Berliners have themselves a new record deal and releases the new album "Ahead of the lions" on Jive records this week. 9 of the songs from BSIBD are featured on the new album along with 3 brand new tracks, you can read my review of the debut right here at melodic.net so you will understand this is an album to check out if you think Iggy Pop in Ramones sounds like an excellent combination. Best of the old tracks are "End gospel" and the rocking opener "Bombs below". Best of the new tracks is the flirt with Suzi Quatro on the new single "Bom bom",let?s hope for a better destiny for Living Things the second time around.
