SHORTCUT: This is the fourth selfreleased album of this modern rock band. There are some nice songs here like ?Let me be?, ?Delivered?, ?Trigger? and ?Falling apart?. The members of the band are Wes, Merle, BJ and Brent. After a couple of spins I have to say that most of the songs begin to sound a bit alike. There are some changes about to take place in the band soon. Brent and BJ are going to leave the band. So lets see what the future holds for these guys. The original member/songwriter/lead vox of Broken Strings (Wesley) and other original member (Merle) drummer, are still going strong with the band and getting ready for a new project after the first of the year. They are currently filling the spots for Brent & BJ. Look for some great new stuff from them!
The Pixies was selected randomly from a dictionary by guitarist Joey Santiago. The band took a liking to the word´s definition, "mischievous little elves". The name was shortened from the original, "Pixies In Panoply".
