Review

If you?re a sucker for energetic and more rocking powerpop, then New York based band Lakota could be the perfect choice for you.
Their debut album is produced by Jamie Woolford (Let Go,The Stereo) and he has really put his touch to this piece of work, the major part of this album is uptempo and at moments also flirting with the emo genre.
"Hope for the haunted" will appeal to fans of early Goo Goo Dolls,Alkaline Trio,Let Go and Everclear.
These 12 songs are quite good but I miss any highlights that could lift this album even more,Lakota has tendencies of making the songs in the same key which can be rather monotone in the long run.
Good band anyhow.
