Review

The Texas numetal quartet Element Eighty released their major label debut on Universal in 2003 but there was no video, no promotion, and a lack of interest in elevating the band to the next level. All of these things eventually led to the band?s departure from the label in late 2004.
Now,they?re back with a new bassplayer aboard and a new album released independently but well produced by Eric Delegard (Edgewater,Jibe,Upside).
The ones who bought the first album and liked it will appreciate the new album as well coz Element Eighty continues to deliver traditional numetal with powerful riffs and strong vocals from David Galloway.
"The bear" is either better or weaker than the debut,it?s just as good!

I listened to this album for the first time last night and have to admit I was quite taken by the recording quality and mix. Being that it was produced by their own record company surprised at the sounds that were captured. I am definitely a new fan of not only the vocalist, the entire band, they have a great play on syncopation that keeps my interest peaked throughout the album. I will be recommending this to many more.
