Review

After being labelled as Australia?s most popular radio friendly rock band following the success of their third album (Odyssey Number 5), you could understand if they were feeling a little pressure heading into the studio to record their follow up.
But not this band, it was business as usual for this 5 piece who hail from Brisbane. This album is full of tracks that will grab your ear. Right from the start with the first blasting track "Rockin Rocks" you know that your in for a ride.
This band possesses such an easy flowing rock sound and throws in tight yet smooth guitar solos on almost every track. Songs such as "Pockets" with a 2 minute sombre intro that turns into an epic masterpiece that will pound you to the ground. Bernard Fanning draws you in with his charismatic melodies and leaves you overwhelmingly satisfied. If you?re any kind of pop/rock fan then you will want this in your collection. It does not dissappoint.

Did you know that?

The Cure´s original name was Easy Cure, which was taken from the name of one of the group´s early songs. The name was later shortened to The Cure because frontman Robert Smith felt the name was too American and "too hippyish".
