Kaj?s final words:After 2 Ep?s from this indierock band This Holiday Life,it was time for a full length album and I think the timing was right coz the band has matured and grown as songwriters on "Friction".
They have a nice mix of alternative rock and melancholic pop and even if they are influenced by Coldplay,I don?t hear that many similarities in their music.
The opening track "Don?t stand up" is a catchy tune and probably their best song so far,the closing track "Don?t fight the friction" is a very poetic and romantic track that melts my heart and in between those 2 fine pop songs we find 12 more good songs perfect for your listening hour.
