Review

We will add some older reviews from the old Melodic Net site that wasn?t added to the new server when we changed a few years ago.

Sweden prime AOR band House Of Shakira is back with their followup to their debut out a couple of years ago. House Of Shakira is quite unique when their in the AOR mixes sounds from Africa and some other type of ideas. I like them a lot. they have a lot of qualities these guys.
A proof of that is the last song out on this album - a livetrack from the gods of AOR -97, where they?re doin? a superb version of Journey?s classic track "Separate Ways". A version that Journey would have been proud of. Well there own material is overall good with a few exceptions. I cant bother when they?re doin more rhythm and blues stuff mixed with melodic AOR.
I prefer them when they?re solid and wellproduced straighahead AOR. It?s then they?re at their best. Buy the album if you enjoyed their first. Buy the album if you want a good album. Don?t buy it if you just can buy one album this month.

Did you know that?

Ozzy’s “Mama I’m Coming Home” is 1 of 4 songs that Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister co-wrote for the “No More Tears” album.
