San Fransisco based Ghostride is a band with 3 members from the now defunct band Will Haven and the former lead singer of electrometal act Tinfed, they released their debut in Europe in 2004 and last year it saw the day of light in Australia/New Zealand.
Their traditional numetal reminds a lot of the first bands I started listening to in this genre namely 40 Below Summer,From Zero and 6gig - I don?t think all the songs hold the same class though.
The Cult-ish vocals from Rey sounds a bit uninspiring but on a track like "Bear trap",he sings great.
Oh,you can also add a touch of Soundgarden into this wave of numetal and I think I have nailed their sound as close as I can get.

I'm a french fan of Will Haven and when I could listen that Ghostride shit I could'nt believe it ! Amazing R&R !

Did you know that?

Released in ’68, the label on Jethro Tull’s debut single “Sunshine Day” accidentally credited the band as Jethro Toe.
