Review

I will add a bunch of older reviews I did back in the late 90?s when I had my old fanzine The Midwestern Skies. I will mainly add reviews of CD?s that are worth and deserves your attention like this christian band that released their debutalbum for BENSON in 1998 sure does...

Here we have another melodic modern acoustic power poprock act on a christian label. Rich Young Ruler is a really nice band with actually a little of their own style. because in this new modern production you can hear a touch of bands like Enuff Z Nuff and Cheap Trick. Modern Powerpop with other words. There are actually two leadvocalists - a guy and a girl - that makes the sound even a bit more cool. The sound have a touch of the 60?s (Beach Boys a?la Wilson) and the sound on the album is very happy and summer-esque. A really pleasant album that I recommend all proper powerpoppers to check out right away. Yeah.
