Review

Newly married Kid Rock has the last ten years been a very successful artist with several hits and a lot of sold albums.
He has with the combination of southern rock, hard rock and rap found a winning concept that is hard to resist.
Ok, some people might think that he?s too much with the party kind of rock n? roll, but if you can get rid of the thought that music got to be serious and has a deeper meaning all the time, Kid Rock can at his best moments be very entertaining.
So after like ten years in the spotlight and three very popular albums, this live album entitled ?Live Trucker? came out, recorded in his hometown Detroit.
We got no extras here like unreleased songs, live footage etc, but that?s ok for me. The 77 minutes long party trip sure is enough and I?m sure that his fans will think the same.
One thing though that we don?t get here is the energy and the ?real? show that is more or less Kid Rocks trademark. This is a big loss, but except from that, ?Live Trucker? is a pretty cool party album that covers a successful career in a fine way.

Did you know that?

John Lennon was not only credited as a co-writer on David Bowie’s 1975 hit “Fame” but also provided some back up vocals on the song as well.
