Review

It?s been 6 years since Nina Gordon?s first solo album "Tonight and the rest of my life" which is a pearl in the female modern pop genre.
Who could?ve believed she would release her second album on a major label since it?s been so long and awfully quiet around her name?
But not only that she?s still a major label artist, Nina has also worked with legendary producer Bob Rock again and is surrounded by great musicians such as Josh Freese-Drums (A Perfect Circle), Tom Morello-Guitar (Audioslave), Jeff Russo-Guitar (Tonic) and Joey Waronker-Drums (The Smashing Pumpkins,R.E.M) to mention a few.

The former lead singer of Veruca Salt gives the fans what they want on "Bleeding heart graffiti", this is a beautiful and emotional pop album that sounds like a worthy follow up to her debut album.
The first single "Kiss me til it bleeds" is an upbeat pop/rock song with hit potential and it couldn?t hurt with a few more of that kind on this slow tempo album but since the ballads are strong - I can?t complain.
"Watercolours" warms my heart and the opening track "Christmas lights" has every chance of becoming a future x-mas classic.
An album rich of melodies!
