Tennessee based rock band Nevertheless combines sunny powerpop with emo and a touch of punkpop in the most beautiful way.
They have co-written several tracks with Kevin Kadish (Rob Thomas, Jason Mraz) so the songwriting quality is spot on.
Think Jimmy Eat World meeting Cartel with some vibes a la Acceptance and even Mae, you can look forward hearing classy harmony vocals from this quintet.
This album is definitely not for the ones who are searching for agressive rock, you could say Nevertheless are the opposite with a warm sound and beautiful songs.
"Live like we?re alive" is a great modern pop/rock album that will stay in your cd/mp3 player for a long time to come if you consider melodic.net to be a good source for melodic music.
Nevertheless are one of those bands that are handmade for this site!
Upload your iPod?s with songs like "The real", "Lover" and "Perfect chemistry" and your day jobs will go by faster than you can say - Superfragilistic-espialidocious.

I think it is brilliant that they have colaborated with Kevin Kadish, who is a recogniced songwriter. The songs has high quality for sure. I think more emo/punk pop bands should experiment with songwriters from the outside, it is making it more interesting and exiting. These kind of colaborations works well for other genres, so why not for the emo genre?...

As I mentioned at A Change Of Pace?s new album, I?m not really an emo fan, I rarely listen to this style, but i must say this is really a big surprise for me, I can?t stop listening to these catchy tunes! It?s veryveryvery like Acceptance, with a perfect sound! The opening track, The Real is an ultimate hit, the album continues with the unforgettable Patience and Devotion, and so on and on.. I must mention the closing track, O?Child, which is my personal fav since I heard it. One of the most beatiful tracks I?ve ever heard in the modern scene, it really brings tears to eyes if you?re in that mood. Favourites: The Real, It?s me, O?Child, Let It Fall, Patience and Devotion

Did you know that?

Eagles Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the all time best selling album in USA, Michael Jackson´s Thriller is the 2nd best selling album.
