Review

Texas based emo/metal act Halifax has done a mighty strong debut album in "The Inevitability of a Strange World" with producer team Machine (Eighteen Visions, Armor For Sleep) and Lou Giordano (Taking Back Sunday, A Static Lullaby).
We?re talking melodic emo with 80?s metal tendencies here, I think their sound is very cool and charming where some of the riffs could?ve been taken from old albums with Motley Crue and Saxon.
But this whole package of explosive emo metal breathes 2006 more than 75% and I?m quite impressed by their harmony vocals, this is an album for more than just the emo freaks out there.
Halifax are here to stay!
