Review

I thought Senses Fail?s debut "Let it enfold you" (2004) was really good with double-kick drumfire and machine gun riffs in a posthardcore suit but on the new album "Still searching", the band has matured both lyrically and with song arrangements.
The band feels more melodic but still with the same tight performance and the production from Brian McTernan is amazing, I just love this guy because he turns everything he works with into gold.

These songs are the most personal that frontman Buddy Nielsen has ever written, -"Everyone?s life is a work in progress" he says and continues -"At some point, we all start examining our lives. If you don?t, there?s something wrong with you."
The band has a new member in guitarist Heath Saraceno (formerly of Midtown), he and Garrett Zablocki sure serve the listener with compact metal-esque guitar riffs that will make any youngster wanna learn how to play the guitar.
I won?t compare this album with the first one because they are different from eachother but equally good, the closing track "The priest and the Matador" must be SF?s strongest track so far - epic stuff!
