Review

Pennsylvanian modern rockers The Starting Line originally came together in 1999 as the band Sunday Drive and by 2000, the quartet had become The Starting Line. This their latest album is produced by the legendary modern rock producer Howard Benson and is their first album out on Virgin Records after their succesful Geffen-released Based on a True Story, which entered the Billboard chart in the Top 20 in 2005. This album is a very good piece of plastic and the band sits on a very cool mix of styles which is somewhere between The Academy Is, Finch and New Found Glory. If you read about these guys on the net they´re always in the light punk session and that´s wrong cause they´re so much more than that. This is clever modern rock with an energetic undertone of modern punkpop. ALl packaged in a very good production signed Mr Benson.
