Warehouse is a Swedish band that I have followed for a few years. This album have been staying in my box of albums that Im supposed to write a few lines about to the site but for some reason it has been stucked in the box since over a year (yes I have too many albums). It has been stuck so long that they even have changed band-name to Bleecker Anyway this album where they still are Warehouse is an album filled with very nice Midwestern sounding rock which could be explained as a tougher Counting Crows sort of rock with other influences from the Midwestern rock scene ala Gin Blossoms, Dave Matthews etc. Add a slice of an alternative edge ala Pearl Jam on a few tunes (not that much though) and youre quite near the hometown of this album. Second out You Are is a very good massive track, and third out Strawtown they take down the tempo a bit and that is also perfect for the great voice of the leadvocalist Tob and on Mellow Grey they once again show a massive huge sounding side I really enjoy. The eight track album sits on as you understand some damn great tunes and if you take away two songs (that are not bad but are just in-between songs) out of eight youll have a midwestern hit-parade. It is a VERY good album and it is very fun to have the chance to write a four star review to a SWEDISH band who plays american midwest rock. Now I will track down their new album as the band Bleecker and Ill promise to not keep it in the box for over a year before a write about it
