The Christian modern rock scene has a new band to be reckoned with. The Nashville-based band We As Human has on their major label debut worked with none other than Howard Benson (Daughtry, Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman) who seems to have a patent of the production on this type of band. When it comes to songwriting, they have also worked there with talents like Scott Stevens (The Exies, Daughtry, Plunge), Mark Holman (Skillet, Red, Halestorm) and Skidd Mills (Kutless, Saving Abel, Rev Theory) so obviously this is a high quality record.
Stylistically We As Human offers a great collection of rock anthem, made for the arenas, but with a slightly heavier appearance. Would say that it sounds like a mix between Breaking Benjamin and Deepfield with a good mix of tougher and more radio friendly tracks.
Highlights this skilled album is "Strike Back," "Bring To Life" and "Zombie", but this self-titled album is really good from start to end.
