Review

Being a big fan of their debut release "If These Streets Could Talk", Just Surrender are back to show a great sense growth on their sophomore effort "We´re In Like Sin," being released August 21, 2007.

Starting with the catchy rocker "Body Language and Bad Habits" this album rocks with Emo Rock glee. Reminiscent of the track "Our Work of Art" , The catchiest track and my personal favorite on the album is "Your Life and Mine." The hooks suck you in and I guarantee it´ll be stuck in your head for hours. Another great track on the album with an awesome title is "If I Wanted to Cuddle I´d Buy a Teddy Bear." The rest of the album does not let up on the melodies either. This is a the main reason I am a fan of this band. You can´t get the hooks out of your head!

Overall this album is a bit on the softer side than the first but still rocks don´t get me wrong. The vocals between both Jason and Dan are very well arranged with more pop hooks and melodies this time around. With guest vocal appearances by
Colin Ross (Hit The Lights) and Chad Gannon (I Am The Pilot) on the track "You´d Be In Great Shape If You Ran Like your Mouth."

Showing a lot of growth and structure in these songs will set this band apart from the rest in their genre.
