Review

I don´t know what to think about Cartel´s new album, I still think this is a good album but I miss their edgy rocking sound of the first album "Chroma" (2005) but perhaps their new label Epic records wanted a poppier record because this sound has more come in common with powerpop bands like Houston Calls, Full Out Freak and Plain White T´s.
There are plenty of potential hits on this album where the fans already have heard the first single "Lose it" but "Wasted" which also is featured as a remix by Wycleaf Jean might be a future airwaves traveller.
The alternative rock-ish "I will hide myself away" is my personal fave, perfect for my mp3 player - however I prefer their first album.
