Review

The new album from christian artist Plumb opens with the 2 beautiful ballads "My sweet, my lovely" and "God will take care of you" where the second one brings thoughts to Enya.
And by now, you start to wonder if there´s a drastic change of sound regarding female rocker Plumb and even the 3rd track "In my arms" is a ballad but this one goes in the true spirit of Evanescence and one step closer to the rock sound of her previous albums.

"In my arms" has potential of becoming a huge hit.
"Always" follows and just like the opening track, these two sound like lullabies - angelic tunes that will make any baby fall to sleep and I also think this is the purpose behind this album since she has a new born baby.
The 5th track "Children of the heavenly father" is a psalm and also perfect as relaxing medicine for your stressed soul, whether or not you go to church on sundays - this song will take you there spiritually.
What makes this ballad oriented album so strong is the variety in these slow songs, the title track "Blink" comes along that could easily have been featured on Faith Hill´s hits collection - lots of Nashville vibes in this song.

But if you´re no friend of ballad albums, then you should ofcourse take your shoes elsewhere.
I think there are moments for each mood and Plumb´s new album will fill that hole whenever I need to relax.
