Artist discography

Megastars and troublemaker bros. of Noel and Liam Gallagher have returned with a new album. It?s a typical Oasis record without the ordinary highlights with the exception of the lovely ballad "Little by little" that could be an AOR track with a different production. There have already been 2 single releases from this album, first "Hindu times" which didn?t feel like the best choice and now "Stop crying your heart out" that I think will do better. However Heathen Chemistry is not by far as good as the classic Whats the story, morning glory or my fave album Be here now(that not so many speak highly of)! They have said in an interviewa few years back that they hate the music of Rolling Stones and thats peculiar when some of the songs sounds like the Stones. Many fans will be pleased with these new songs and I think it?s OK but we can ask for more when it comes to these talented melodymakers.

Tracklisting 1. The Hindu Times
2. Force Of Nature
3. Hung In A Bad Place
4. Stop Crying Your Heart Out
5. Songbird
6. Little By Little
7. A Quick Peep
8. (Probably) All In The Mind
9. She Is Love
10. Born On A Different Cloud
11. Better Man

Oasis (particularly Noel) are the best melodists (in the sense of Beatles-alike-striking-at-first-listen-melodies)of the past 20 years (besides Coldplay maybe), hence singalongs are there, but the whole album lacks cohesion and that special "something". Visit my blog on melodies and influences in music if you mind =)
