Dope - Life

Reviewer :
Kaj Roth Format: Album
Year: 2001
Label: Epic Records
Genre: Industrial
Producer: Josh Abraham
Artist discography

New York based numetal rockers Dope 2nd album ride on the wind trying to make the sales soundinglike hundreds of other bands in the genre. They are in the same league as P.O.D and Saliva, however there are no direct stuff here more than the first single "Now or never"...which was lost on the way in the numetalk swamp! I like the tough and hard production with loads of great chopping riffs but thats about all....the rest just gets boring. The leaders of the band are the brothers Edsel(vocals) and Simon Dope(keyboards),their problem is that the melodies are way too weak and Edsel screams more than sing and thats annoying. I?d prefer a little more class thank you.
