Review

It has popped up thousands of bands sounding like Blink 182 after their worldwide success a couple of years ago. Midtown is just another one speaking the totally same language as all the others. But compared to many of the other ones these youngsters are really nice listening to. The songs are on a good level all through and we also got a nice vocal combination of the two singers Gabe Saporta and Heath Saraceno. The opening track is a very cool one which intro is a rip off from Eric Martin Bands "Sucker for a pretty face". Its probably a coincident since the original is an great Aor song from 1983 and is about the same year of age as the guys. Another favourite track is the slower "One last time" which is a great one in the same division as Sr-71. But the more I listen to groups like this the I realize that this type of punk influenced rock will kill itself if it wont start happening something new with it. But if you are into punkish modern rock like Good Charlotte and Fenix Tx ,this is a sure check-up because its one of the best albums I?ve heard in this music style.
