Review

This Gothenburg based metal act was founded in 1998 and signed to EMI records in 2001 and when the record contract was fulfilled in 2005, the band moved on and now Regain records is their new home.
"Latest version of the truth" is Mustasch´s 4th full length album for which they won the award for Best Hard Rock at the Swedish 2007 Grammy Awards, the album features the hit single "Double nature" and the new single "Bring me everyone" which rocks just as heavy as the first single.

The riff on "Falling down" bring thoughts to Magnum´s "Vigilante" (1986), but most riffs comes from Tony Iommi´s school of riffs because Mustasch is certainly building on the legacy of Black Sabbath.
I like their mix of heavy riffs with a string section on several tracks, the orchestral "Forever begins today" is a good example of this while "I am not agressive" is a classic metal tune.
Good stuff!
