Review

The latest from Digital Summer is a 6 track CD and DVD designed to keep them in the minds of their fans and perhaps create some new ones before their next album.
The cd portion of this package features acoustic versions of Whatever it Takes and Suffocate. Both these songs were found in their original form on the debut album Cause and Effect. The other 4 songs are also fairly mellow with Rescue Me easily being the best of the bunch.
A very professional looking video for Rescue Me has also been made and you can see it on the DVD portion along with footage of how the video was made. A very basic video created from concert footage is also included for the song Disconnet.
Too be honest this mini album/dvd package is probably only of interest for the real hardcore Digital Summer fan. Soft, mellow music doesn’t play to this bands strengths and no doubt this is just a small taste of much greater things to come.

Tracklisting 1. Whatever It Takes
2. Use Me
3. Suffocate
4. Sweet Misery
5. Rescue Me
6. Worth The Pain

Although short and not full of new material, it's great to see a young band show their diversity so soon.
