Review

Hard and heavy packaged rifforama,it?s totally growing emo bands in every corner of each block in the cities around the world. The used sound like many others, they dont have to be ashamed because they handle this genre fine. But good refrains are what?s missing, this is only their debut so they have all the time in the world to shape up. "The taste of ink" is pretty cool, imagine Elvis Costello going numetal! The first group that I come to think about drawing parallels is with "A" but they are little more classy. It?s hard to compete with other bands and to survive in this jungle so they should work a little harder on the melodies. When they cool down and bring in a piano on "Blue and yellow" I lift my eyebrows and swing my arms like Ginger Rogers, that?s a great song. The songs are pretty short so it never feels tiresome hearing this album. There is a hidden track after song no:12,if you?re interested in The Used.
