Review

17 years and 10 studio albums but now the curtain is down for the Canadian hardrock band Harem Scarem, "Hope" is their final album.
Plus a countless numbers of compilations, live albums and as Rubber.
The last 4 albums from "Weight of the world" to "Human nature" all soundalike but the new one is darker like a mix of "Voice of reason" and "Big bang theory" but a bit weaker.
Harry Hess sounds uninspired and the whole album feels like a collection of leftovers except for 2 tracks "Shooting star" and "Nothing without you".
Pete Lesperance deliver some really awesome guitar riffs but that´s the only thing to be excited about here.

Although Harem is one of my all-time favorite bands, I am abashed to admit that I completely agree with Kaj's review. Aditionally, the production is weaker than their earlier efforts (the hi-hat is a constant nag on my ears). Although I will take this above Big Bang Theory (I just cannot get into that one at all), I would suggest stopping at Human Nature with their discography (which is an absolute classic).
