I never thought about it earlier but with this new live album from David Crowder Band, I think they sound a bit like Delirious? with loops and sequencers. That is the fact which is really cool because they pull off every effect from their studio albums on stage but with a more live sounding production. It was recorded on their 2007 tour which boasted 19 sold out dates, the latest studio album "Remedy" garnered three 2008 Dove awards and the Top 5 Christian single "Everything glorious". The setlist is built on their 2 latest releases with 8 songs from "Remedy" and 5 songs from "A Collision or", there are no songs played from their debut "Can you hear us" and only 2 songs from the 2nd album "Illuminate". DCB starts with the Coldplay-ish intro "Trying to make you sing" before continuing with 15 more tracks from their 3 previous releases. The DVD is 10 minutes longer than this 73 minute long live cd, and you also get the DVD concert in 5.1 surround sound which is a must with all their sound effects and this huge arena sound. It´s a good live album but I bet the DVD is more enjoyable.
