Artist discography

This supergroup is going down slope, from have been dropped by Columbia they now releases this new EP by themselves. It can be bought through their webpage with some distribution by Frontiers records and it contains 4 new songs. First out is "State of grace" which they open with on their set this summer tour, the intro sounds a lot like the intro used on the "Frontiers" tour. The song is a straight Neal Schon rocker which gets better every time I hear it,but far away from the classic rockers in the Perry era! 2nd out is also an uptempo rocker,"The time" is unfortunately a sad story where the only good thing is Augeris singing part. "Walking away from the edge" is another typical Journey ballad but without the magic that Cain oftens delivers in tunes like "Faithfully" or "When you love a woman",it?s a good song but Journey is not "just" good..ohno, they?re kings of AOR and can do so much better. The last track on this EP is a midtempo thing called "I can breathe" and sounds very much like the new sound of Journey with Augeri. I cant complain because Schons guitarplaying is still amazing and Augeri does a good work replacing Perry but dont we all want a little bit more from this legendary group?!-I think so! It hurts in my Journey soul to see them fall, maybe it?s time to lay down before the curtains down and the show is over.
