A quite unique style was my thought while listen to this album for the first time. It has a big retrovibe ala Whitesnake, but still a fresh modern touch over a lot of the songs. Anders Bengtssons voice is sure a treasure. A solid rockvoice with a powertouch ala Coverdale. Second out "Could I Know" have a great groove and a fat guitarriff and a Led Zepelin-esque refrain. Sure a cool discovery this band! Third out is more the old fashioned Whitesnake sort of classic rock and the acoustic "Tonight" is another tune that is worth mentioning. All in all a very nice discovery and a sure check up if youre into Whitesnake in a little more modern rock costume.
This is the best album og gaeleri! I've had it for many years now, but still pull it out and listen to it over and over again. You need to give it some time to discover its greatness. I discover new things everytime I lsten to it.
One of my favourite song is "A Story" which captured me first time I heard it with its arab style riff. I also love Gazing, last song of the album, which in a way sums up what gaeleri is all about. Great songs with variety, great musicians and a very strong vocalist.
