Review

The Italian progmetal band Mind Key returns with a much stronger album compared to the 2004 debut "Journey of a rough diamond".
Sure, they had the songs on the first album but I complained a bit about the production and I´m happy to announce that the new album sound so much better.
And it´s not that surprising when you see the name of Dennis Ward handling the mix, but there are other things worth noticing about the new album that will be out on July 3rd.
The band has a new singer with Aurelio Fierro replacing Mark Basile who left after the first album, Aurelio´s powerful vocal performance bring thoughts to Jorn Lande.

You will also find a few interesting names as guest musicians like Tom Englund (Evergrey) doing a duet on "Graveheart", Derek Sherinian playing a keyboard solo on "Citizen greed" and Reb Beach (Winger) playing guitar on the fusion influenced "Now until forever".
Mind Key has toured with Dream Theater and Pendragon, if they continue developing their sound and songs - I bet they will be up there right next to those bands with same fame and success.
