Mike Tramp acoustic at De Bosuil Weert – Holland 21-09-2014

Mike Tramp is well known for once being the driving force in White Lion.
These days everything has changed.

Mike travels from city to city all by himself delivering the songs from now and then in the purest form, the way they were originally written on acoustic guitar.

Now it is clear that doing a European tour completely alone is not easy to realize.
And the fact that he more than often plays 2,5 to 3 hours on stage makes this even harder.
This being said it is clear that this is not about the money, it is a lifestyle.

Mike played songs from all White Lion albums such as "Fight to Survive, Road to Valhalla, Broken Heart, Wait, Lady of the Valley, When the Children Cry", etc. Aslo he managed to recreate "Radar Love" with a complete new vocal rythm arrangement which is simply amazing.
The crowd appreciated it and gave a standing ovation. But there is more, songs from Mike's other previous band Freak of Nature were also done superbly. And then naturally many songs from his much appreciated solo albums, with many personal and self reflecting lyrics. Like for example “Have You Ever” and the new single “Trust in Yourself” from this year's album release "Museum".
The song that really stands out however being probably the most personal song he has ever done is “Mother”. A song about his own mother which brought tears in the eyes of many fans that know Mike's story!
Simply breathtaking!

If you happen to have the chance to go to one of his shows, in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark in October and November 2014 do go.
this is what rock n roll is all about.
