Review

Kelley Hunt is a girl who's been around the musiccircus for quite a while with six albums in her catalogue... She's a bluesbased artists that are born and raised on influences like Ann Pebbles and not least Bonnie Raitt which is the best name to mention as a comparison... And if you like Bonnies work you shoule definately check out this album. For myself - I prefer when she deliver soft ballads such as the really beautiful "Let It Rain", "The Beautiful Bones" and the absolute marvellous "Miracle" which sounds like a Bonnie Raitt-tune produced by Daniel Lanois.

Did you know that?

Their name is Icelandic wordplay: while the individual words Sigur and Rós mean, respectively, Victory and Rose, "Victory Rose" wouldn´t be grammatically correct; the name is actually borrowed from Jónsi´s younger sister Sigurrós Elin, who was born the same day as the band was formed, and then split into two words.
