Artist discography

67 year old rock legend Jack Bruce is one of those 4 stringers that has been around since god created man, this veteran is the cornerstone of all powertrios with names like Cream, West Bruce Laing, Bruce Baker Moore, and Bruce Lordan Trower. One of the first bass riffs I ever learned to play was Sunshine of your love with Cream, and that song is performed by Jack Bruce and the Cuicoland Express on this double live album. This concert was recorded on one night in Holland, 2001 and we get to hear the band perform songs from both Bruce´s solo albums as well as 3 classic Cream songs and "Out into the fields" from his time with West Bruce Laing.

It was a 2 hour long concert and the band is in good mood because they jam a lot in the songs and the audience really show their appreciation between the songs. Bruce is not the best vocalist around but he´s a great bassplayer, I thought it was lots of fun to hear Vernon Reid on guitar from Living Colorplus congas player Richie Flores from Santana sure do make the songs swing like a true latino party. This is how a live album should sound like!
