Artist discography

The record company Escape?s 2nd tribute to an AOR band, the first one was to Foreigner and now one to Boston with Steve Morris from Heartland as a producer and guitarist on this record. This tribute feels a little more right in the making comparable to Musea?s tribute to Pink Floyd that I also reviewed here. This one is done by AOR folks doing their versions of one of the biggest AOR bands of all time. Steve Overland from FM feels really good to hear singing both "Long time" and "Amanda". Sean Harris from Diamond Head makes a nice version of "Hitch a ride" with his enjoyable voice! Chris Ousey from Heartland does "Cool the engines" without complaints, just the way we?re used to hear him in his band. I don?t know what has happened to Terry Brock?s voice though ?coz he sounds like all the clearness has blown away hearing him sing on "It?s easy" and "Rocknroll band". Pete Sundell from Grand Illusion takes down "Don?t look back" and "More than a feeling" to an unexpactable level with his annoying high pitch vocals. ad Habit did a much stronger version of "More than a feeling" on their album After hours! Ohyes, the harmony vocals on this tribute is very good even though it?s not comparable to Boston fantastic choirs.
