Review

Like a rocket onto my Top 20 album list comes Darling Thieves and their new album Race to red, formerly known as I Hate Kate featuring bandleader Justin Mauriello (formerly of Zebrahead) this band has created a unique sound like a mix of 80´s new wave, dance rock and alternative prog. Yeah there are moments when they bring thoughts to Muse but also AFI and the 80´s icon Gary Numan. It is so supercool to hear traces of electronica as well as riff oriented rock with infectious choruses on top, I mean just listen to "Unspoken" and "Free without you" and you will understand exactly what I´m talking about. Imagine Depeche Mode in a modern rock version and you´ll get "Burn down the wall", excellent boys!

Tracklisting 1. Unspoken
2. Free Without You
3. Burn Down The Wall
4. Final
5. Ignore The Whisper
6. In A Bad Way
7. She Remains
8. Race To Red
9. Welcome To My World
10. Another Day

Just a great album!! Something new in the age of Pop and Hip Hop. Definitely deserves more publicity then what they get now.

Rly good album...but i think that electronic effects like in song Unspoken isnt too much good for Justins voice :)..greetings from Czech :)
